Founder and Chief Vision Officer Tony Lopes wears many hats; he is a podcaster, practicing attorney and managing partner at his own law firm, and Adjunct Professor of intellectual property law and entertainment law at Temple University’s Fox School of Business.
Tony’s passion for entrepreneurship, media production, and podcasting can be traced back to the day he handed in his last final at Rutgers School of Law in 2014. Afterward, he headed home to pack for a 13-day production trip to St. Maarten and Domenica in the Caribbean, where he spent significant time working on a One Fifteen Films Production with co-founder and CCO Michael Leary.
As a Producer, Tony specializes in entrepreneurship, legal strategy, risk mitigation, prospecting, pre-production prep, and production execution. He is notorious for pushing past barriers and limits, looking for opportunities, and bringing aspiration and creativity to any project he works on. Tony is an avid autodidact who is always looking at the “big picture,” learning new things and finding ways to innovate and work smarter.
Since launching the Self Made Strategies Podcast, Tony has also produced a new podcast for nonprofit organization TODAY is a Good Day.
Michael Leary is a Founder and the Chief Creative Officer of CollegeCast. He is an award-winning video producer with over 20 years of experience in many types of visual media including short and feature films, commercials, corporate videos, and podcasts.
Michael’s passion for film making started in college, when he decided shooting and editing funny skits with his friends was way more fun than struggling in chemistry. After receiving a degree in communications and freelancing for many production companies, he founded one fifteen films; a media production company specializing in commercials, branded content, and corporate videos. Michael takes pride in developing personal relationships with his clients resulting in a fun, yet professional, working environment. With his experience in producing many diverse projects over the years, including podcasts and mentoring up-and-coming college students during his career, he feels CollegeCast is a perfect fit for his next venture.
Michael was recently selected into Shoot Magazine’s New Director’s Showcase for a spec commercial he produced and directed overseas.
When he is not producing video content and when the pandemic is finally over, he will continue traveling and trying new restaurants. Michael also enjoys cooking and enjoying time with his friends and family. In between these activities, he is endlessly searching for the truth behind the UFO phenomenon. He currently resides with his wife Jessica and their dogs Nora and Wilson, and cat Francesco.
